I was having lunch at the Park Meadows mall today and the table had a nascar ad plastered to it, which was almost insulting to mall goers' intelligence, I can understand the llightrail ads, but table ads cross a very fine line.
I agree the prevalance of advertising is annoying and has even become bombarding. I wonder though if you would prefer a table with advertising on it or if you would not rather have the table if the advertising provided the funds to purchase and maintain the table?
